Description

Image Sitemap is mixing from Google XML Sitemap for Images (creator: Amit Agarwal) and XML Image Sitemap (creator: Eric Nagel). Why I mix they plugin? Because they plugin if mixed will be more powerfull that can write the image sitemap even the website have so many postings (depend on server hosting performance).

We do not collect information about you or your server.

Installation

Automatic Installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t even need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install, log in to your WordPress admin panel, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “Image Sitemap” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found the plugin you can view details about it such as the the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by clicking “Install Now”.

Manual Installation

The manual installation method involves downloading the plugin and uploading it to your site. To do a manual install, log in to your WordPress admin panel, navigate to the Plugins menu, click Add New, click Upload (top links) and finally select the downloaded file.

No options for to control

There is the only option this plugin provides is to generate an image sitemap. There is no control over excluding any image or URL. If you running a website with multiple status pages just like 302, no-index pages, etc. this plugin used to add all images and as a result, you got a lot of errors in the Google Search Console.

It's such an amazing plugin! This is probably the only free image sitemap plugin that works with woocommerce! Great job, guys!

Does exactly what it claims

Tried a few image sitemap plugins, and this one did exactly what you'd expect - simply generates an XML sitemap of all images in the site. Nice plugin.

Works on 4.4.2, now let's see if the images get indexed

Seems to work great, just submitted to Google Webmaster Tools, let's see the results..
Right now I have only 5 images indexed from the 129 submitted with Yoast.

We don’t generate these in our plugin..

Adding images to your XML sitemaps help Google index your images, so be sure to do so for better image SEO.
