Installation
Minimum Requirements for ImageSeo
- WordPress 4.5 or greater
- PHP version 7.4 or greater
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for “imageseo”.
- Click “Install Now”.

Alt text (alternative text), also known as “alt attribute,” “alt description”, or technically incorrectly as “alt tag”, is used within a HTML code to describe the appearance and function of an image on a page. There is no difference between alt text and alt tag.
Alt text should be short but descriptive. You need to describe your image in 2-3 words.

STAY AWAY! Wost plugin, no support

I purchased this plugin in Oct '23 and it did not work as advertised, the results were extremely poor and pretty much unusable.
I requested a refund several times since October 2023 without a single reply from them or any offer of assistance or a refund.
I would not recommend this company or their products to anyone.

This plug in is a SCAM

I subscribed to the 1000 credits option and purchased an additional 500 credits. I ran your plug-in in, and it was not generating any results but was taking away credits from my account. After writing your support, I received no response, so I canceled my subscription. Upon cancelation, my remaining 1000 credits from the subscription were removed from my account, followed by the removal of the additional 500 credits. This plug-in is a scam does not work, and is not supported.
DOESN'T WORK

I installed the app with €250.00 credit and started to add in alt tags...it ran and ran and ran. but no alt tags were added.
Contacted support and nothing, nowt..zilch, nada.
They have €250.00 of my money and I have nothing to show for it other than a broken app.
God knows what free 10 Credits are worth?

A 0-star plugin. Shouldn't have been installed, would have been better if I have checked its review here first.
It gives 10 credits for a free user even after registering with them. 10 Credit means 10 images? Who would install it?
Generating blank alt texts

This plugin is not generating any alt texts.
I did try the free package and then upgraded to 100 credits just to text.
It deleted all the alt texts i had on the pictures and replaced them with no text at all.
Did run another test on the blank alt text pictures. Then it generated the same text on all the pictures. The alt text where "footer -"..
This makes no sence.
I have emailed support today and hopefully i get a good answer how this is fixed. Untill then i give this plugin 1 star since it just made everything much worse and i have to restore to a website backup.
They're gone

If you want to risk this thing, install it in your staging area first and use the free trial. I ran through the 10 free, and nothing happened - except the credit disappeared. I doubled down and bought 500 credits. They started disappearing with no alt-text generated. Looked through the documentation. 404 errors everywhere. I contacted the email address that sent my invoice and the support email. Set out my problem in bullet points. No response for over a week. Checked back. The 500 credits I paid for are gone. I checked for a refund. Nothing. Just be careful, people. Look at the number of 1 stars versus 5 stars. Ask yourself who is leaving the 5 stars? I've written off my money. All I do to feel less embarrassed is warn others. Now will be reporting these clowns to my bank and letting the international credit card agencies do their thing.
