How it works

1. Create a new Immersive Designer configuration in the WordPress admin
2. Upload your GLB, GLTF or OBJ model — the plugin detects all meshes automatically
3. For each mesh, add options: pick a color, upload a texture image, or set a material
4. Link the configuration to one or more WooCommerce products
5. A Configure button appears on the product page — customers open the 3D viewer, make their choices and add to cart

Quick Start

1. Create a configuration
Go to Immersive Designer → Add New in the WordPress admin.

2. Upload your model
In the 3D File Importer panel, select the format (GLB/GLTF or OBJ), upload your file and wait for the model to appear in the viewer. The plugin lists every mesh it detects automatically.

3. Add option groups
Click + Add Option Group, pick a mesh from the dropdown, give it a customer-facing label (e.g. Body Color) and click + Add Option to define each choice — color, material or texture image.

4. Link to a product
In the Linked Products panel, select a WooCommerce product and click Link. Repeat for every product that should offer this configuration.

5. Publish and test
Publish the configuration, open the product page in your shop and click the Configure button. Select options, add to cart, and check that the configuration appears in the cart and order.

Need a test model? Download a free GLB from Sketchfab (filter by license: Free) or export one from Blender via File → Export → glTF 2.0 (.glb/.gltf).

2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
3. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active
