Duplicate All lets you duplicate a post, clone a page, or copy several items at once from your WordPress dashboard. Reuse a landing page, create a draft from an existing article, or start a new page from a layout you already built.

Copies keep the original content, excerpt, featured image reference, custom fields, and page builder metadata. The original stays unchanged, and each copy belongs to the user who creates it.

Duplicate a post or page in one click

Open Posts > All Posts or Pages > All Pages and select Duplicate All below the item. New copies are drafts by default, so you can review them before publishing.

Copy multiple items with bulk actions

Select the items you want to reuse, choose Duplicate from the Bulk actions menu, and click Apply. A notice shows how many items were copied and how many could not be copied.

Reuse Elementor layouts

Elementor content and page settings are copied with the item. Duplicate All skips stale Elementor caches and requests fresh CSS when Elementor is active. The edit redirect opens Elementor for items marked as using its builder; otherwise it opens the standard WordPress editor.

Small plugin, practical settings

Go to Settings > Duplicate All to:

Enable duplication for posts, pages, and supported custom post types with an admin interface.
Set a title suffix, such as (Copy), or leave it empty.
Choose Draft, Pending Review, Private, or Publish for new copies.
Stay on the list or go directly to the edit screen after duplication.

You can also use Duplicate This in the admin toolbar while viewing an eligible single item on your site.

The settings page supports small screens, keyboard navigation, and reduced motion preferences. The plugin uses WordPress APIs, adds no frontend stylesheet, and has no external service or account requirement.

Permissions and privacy

Users must be allowed to edit the original item and create content of its type. Published and private copies require permission to publish; otherwise the copy stays a draft. Term assignments follow the user’s taxonomy permissions. Disabled post types, media attachments, and trashed items cannot be duplicated.

Duplicate All does not collect analytics or send your content to external services. Links to support and the developer’s website open only when you choose to follow them.

Installation

In your dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New and search for Duplicate All by INformigados.
Click Install Now, then Activate. You can also upload the plugin ZIP through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
Open Posts > All Posts or Pages > All Pages and select Duplicate All below an item.
Optionally, configure the plugin under Settings > Duplicate All.

Faq

How do I duplicate a page without publishing it?

Leave Status for New Item set to Draft, the default. Duplicate the page, edit the copy, and publish it when you are ready.

Can I duplicate several posts at once?

Yes. Select the posts in the list, choose Duplicate from Bulk actions, and click Apply. Each item is checked against your permissions before it is copied.

What gets copied?

The title, content, excerpt, comment and ping settings, password, parent, menu order, permitted taxonomy terms, and custom field values are copied. This includes featured image references and page builder data. Multiple values for the same custom field are preserved.

Uploaded media files are reused, not copied on disk. Comments, revisions, editing locks, old slugs, trash information, and generated Elementor caches are not copied. Child posts and data stored in separate plugin tables are not recursively cloned.

Does it work with Elementor and other page builders?

Duplicate All includes Elementor metadata copying, cache exclusions, CSS regeneration, and an Elementor edit redirect. Other builders that store their layout in post content or custom fields may also work; integrations that use separate tables or related records may require their own duplication tools.

Does it support custom post types?

Yes. Supported types with an admin interface appear in the settings, including hierarchical types and private types exposed in the dashboard. Enable only the types you want to copy. Complex records such as orders, subscriptions, or products with variations may require a specialized duplication tool.

Why is the Duplicate All link missing?

Check that the type is enabled under Settings > Duplicate All, that the item is not in the trash, and that your account can edit the original and create new items of that type.

Why was my copy saved as a draft when Publish was selected?

Your account must have permission to publish that type of content. If it does not, Duplicate All keeps the copy as a draft for review.

Does this plugin duplicate an entire website?

No. It duplicates individual content items in the current site. It is not a backup, migration, or full-site cloning tool.
