The plugin allows you to create an unlimited number of clickable world maps with different settings – colors, links, pop-ups, etc.
The plugin is compatible with any WordPress theme, including the popular Divi and Avada themes. The map can be inserted in any page builder such as Elementor, Gutenberg, Visual Composer, etc.

The plugin Interactive World Map is based on and uses cdn-hosted map library.

Installation

Use the Plugins -> Add new -> Upload menu and select plugin’s ZIP file to open.
Wait for the upload to complete and activate the plugin.
After that, insert the following shortcode into the text of a page or a post where you want the map to be: [freeworldhtml5map id="0"].

Alternatively, upload the folder of the plugin to your /wp-content/plugins/ folder then follow steps 2 and the rest as above.

Faq

How can I insert a map to a page?

Type [freeworldhtml5map id="0"] in the text of a page or a post. Shortcodes can be viewed on the page Maps Dashboard.

Can I use two differently configured maps on the same blog?

Yes, you can create several maps with different settings.

I don’t want to use tooltips. Instead, I would like to display information below the map.

Set the continent’s click option to “Show more info” in the Detailed Settings section, and type the information you would like to display or upload media.

What kind of media can I use in the side panel displayed below the map or right?

Any type that WordPress can deal with.

Doesn't seem to do anything it claims to do.

Attempted to use this, can't select to display just UK, have to select all of Europe. Even then, once saved, the resulting map doesn't only show Europe it shows the full map. Can't find any option to add any marker to the map at all.

Deactivated and deleted within 30 minutes.

Other than the link at the bottom of the map, it seems to work fine. Can make changes with your own theme styling, but does what it needs to.

Great plugin

First off, let me explain the context of why I think this is a great plugin. Google Maps, in my opinion, is untouchable. However, Google's pricing is a landmine field I don't want to send my clients into. To find an alternative, I googled for another plugin and came across Interactive World Map. First off, the developer's support was amazing, right from the first point of contact on their website through the chat box. Then the map plugin itself is super simple to use and comes with more than enough usability to offer a great solution. The fact that you can add markers with information (including a link to the location on Google Maps, which is great for navigation) is a great bonus. Another bonus is that it's region specific. That means you can have a map of only an area of interest to your business, which removes unnecessary fluff. This is a great plugin. Highly recommended.

Incorrect MAP! Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia are placed 100% in Europe

INCORRECT MAP, TURKEY is placed 100% in EUROPEAN Continent = INCORRECT ALSO Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia are placed 100% in EUROPEAN Continent = INCORRECT Whoever designed the silly map, needs to go back to school!

La verdad, es que por el precio que tiene merece muy mucho la pena. Es muy sencillo de manejar, puedes editar cada región a tu antojo e incluso personalizarlas. El soporte es rápido y resuelven dudas sin problemas. Añade un toque innovador a tu wordpress, sin duda es un acierto.
