JD FloatLinker

JD FloatLinker adds a lightweight floating contact button group to your WordPress site.

JD FloatLinker focuses on a performance-friendly floating contact widget. The frontend does not load Vue, shadcn, remote icon fonts, tracking scripts, or external CDN assets. It uses inline SVG icons, local WordPress option storage, conditional asset loading, and no frontend REST requests.

The Free version includes:

• One floating button group.
• Phone, WeChat, messaging link, email, and social buttons.
• Bottom-right or bottom-left position.
• Tooltip text.
• Color control.
• Fixed lightweight icon size.
• Desktop and mobile visibility settings.
• Conditional frontend asset loading.

• Configure Phone, WeChat, messaging link, email, and social contact buttons.
• Use tel: links for Phone.
• Copy WeChat ID from the frontend button.
• Open basic messaging app links.
• Open supported social links in a new tab.
• Set button group position to bottom-right or bottom-left.

• Toggle desktop and mobile visibility.
• Skip frontend widget output and assets when no usable button content exists.

Source Code and Build Tools

The human-readable source files for the compiled admin and frontend assets are included in the app/ directory.

Build steps:

1. cd app
2. pnpm install –frozen-lockfile
3. pnpm build

The generated production files are stored in assets/. The release package does not include node_modules.

1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate JD FloatLinker in the WordPress Plugins screen.
3. Open the JD FloatLinker admin menu.
4. Configure your buttons and save changes.
