Kalkulator dodatku mieszkaniowego

This plugin provides a calculator that estimates the Polish housing allowance. Add the [dmwk_dodatek_mieszkaniowy] shortcode to a page and configure the reference values under Settings > Dodatek mieszkaniowy.

Numeric fields can use a large on-screen keypad designed for touch terminals. An administrator can enable or disable it under Settings > Dodatek mieszkaniowy. Integer and decimal fields use the appropriate keypad layout while standard physical-keyboard input remains available.

The calculator takes into account:

• the normative floor area based on household size,
• the increased floor-area allowance related to disability,
• the permitted excess over the normative floor area,
• the income criterion and excess income,
• expenses attributable to the normative floor area,
• lump-sum amounts for the lack of central heating, hot water, and piped gas,
• the household’s own contribution,
• the statutory allowance limit, adjustable by a municipal council within the 50-90% range,
• the minimum allowance amount,
• the division of payment between the property manager and the applicant.

Privacy

Values entered by a visitor are not sent to WordPress or any external service. JavaScript performs all calculations in the visitor’s browser. The plugin does not set cookies, register REST API routes, or register AJAX actions.

Only settings entered by an administrator are stored on the server. The plugin does not automatically connect to any external service.

The competent authority determines eligibility and the final allowance amount from the submitted application and supporting documents. Administrators should verify the reference data after changes in law, new publications from Statistics Poland or the Polish Energy Regulatory Office, and changes to municipal council resolutions.

Shortcode

Basic usage:

[dmwk_dodatek_mieszkaniowy]

Available attributes:

• tytul – heading displayed above the form; an empty value hides it.
• daty – tak (default) or nie; nie hides the date fields and uses the site’s current date.
• ile_osob – initial number of household members.
• rodo – nie hides the data-processing notice for that shortcode instance.

1. Install the plugin from the ZIP file or copy its directory to /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Go to Settings > Dodatek mieszkaniowy and verify the reference data.
4. Add the [dmwk_dodatek_mieszkaniowy] shortcode to a page.

Is the result legally binding?

No. The result is only an estimate. The competent authority determines eligibility and the allowance amount in an administrative decision.

Does the plugin store data entered in the calculator?

No. The data remains in the visitor’s browser and is not sent to the server. The plugin stores only configuration entered by an administrator.

Is the reference data updated automatically?

No. The lack of automatic external connections reduces data sharing and external dependencies, but the administrator must update values after new official announcements or changes to municipal council resolutions.

Does the calculator work with page caching?

Yes. Every calculation runs locally and does not require a nonce or an additional HTTP request.

Which number formats are accepted?

Non-negative numbers with up to four decimal places are accepted. A decimal comma and spaces as thousands separators may be used, for example 3 200,50.
