KM Resource Grid
KM Resource Grid
Description
KM Resource Grid provides a lightweight way to publish free eBooks, PDFs, guides, templates, checklists, and other downloadable resources.
Each resource includes:
- A title
- A short description
- A resource image
- A direct downloadable file URL
The plugin creates a Free Resources page on activation. Administrators can assign a different existing page or change the page link under KM Resources > Settings.
Design controls include:
- WordPress image source size
- Displayed image width, height, fit, and background
- Independent desktop, tablet, and mobile grid columns plus card spacing
- Card background, border, radius, padding, and shadow
- Theme-default typography with optional local system font overrides
- Optional resource heading size, weight, style, and color overrides
- Optional excerpt size, weight, style, color, and line-height overrides
- Theme-default button styling with optional label, font, color, hover, radius, padding, and width overrides
Resource records do not create public individual post pages. This prevents thin duplicate pages while keeping the main resource library crawlable. The frontend includes semantic HTML, responsive WordPress images, accessible controls, and ItemList, CreativeWork, and MediaObject structured data.
No external services, tracking scripts, external fonts, or third-party libraries are used.

Yes. Desktop supports one to four columns, tablet supports one to three columns at 900px and below, and mobile supports one or two columns at 600px and below.
Blank typography and button-style fields intentionally use the active theme. Enter or select a custom value and save to apply a plugin-scoped high-priority override.

No. The plugin does not collect personal data, track downloads, load external fonts, or contact third-party services.
No. Deactivating or deleting the plugin does not automatically remove resources, media files, or the assigned page.
The output uses semantic article and heading markup, responsive images, fallback alt text, accessible download links, and structured data. Individual resource records remain private to avoid thin duplicate pages. The plugin does not promise or guarantee search rankings.
