Kulturae Agenda lets cultural structures and businesses create, organize and publish their cultural programming directly from WordPress: exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, concerts, shows and festivals.

The plugin handles single or recurring dates, venues, ticketing and accessibility information. Events are shown on a public agenda page with search and filters, generated automatically or inserted wherever you like through a shortcode or a Gutenberg block.

Kulturae Agenda does not collect any personal data from your site visitors and does not communicate with any third-party service.

Installation manually

  1. Download the kulturae-agenda.zip file.
  2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
  3. Click “Upload Plugin”.
  4. Choose the .zip file and click “Install Now”.
  5. Activate the plugin.
  6. The “Kulturae Agenda” menu appears in the dashboard.

Getting started

  1. Create your venues: Kulturae Agenda > Venues.
  2. Create your events: Kulturae Agenda > Add New.
  3. Set the title, subtitle and number of events per page: Kulturae Agenda > Settings.
  4. Review the available shortcodes: Kulturae Agenda > Shortcodes.
  5. The agenda is available automatically at /agenda/, or can be inserted into any page with the [kulturae_agenda] shortcode.
  1. Go to the Plugins page from your dashboard and select “Add New”
  2. Search for “Kulturae Agenda” and click “Install Now”.
  3. Activate Kulturae Agenda from your Plugins page
  4. The “Kulturae Agenda” menu appears in the dashboard.
How do I create a recurring event?

In the event editor, under “Dates and times”, choose “Recurring event”, then select the frequency (weekly, monthly, weekends, and so on) and the end date of the series. The plugin automatically generates all occurrences.

Is the plugin free?

Yes, Kulturae Agenda is free and fully functional, with no limit on the number of events or venues you can create.

How do I display the agenda on a page?

Use the [kulturae_agenda] shortcode in the content of any page or post, or the “Agenda” Gutenberg block. An agenda page is also generated automatically at /agenda/.

How do I feature an event?

Check “Featured event” in the event editor (SEO and sharing section), then use the [kulturae_event] shortcode to display it full width on a home or landing page.
