All this plugin does is is change the buddypress signup activation process such that:
When signed up user activates their account, it makes them logged in
Once that user is logged in, they are redirected to their profile

Installation
Installing the plugin
- In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins > New Plugin, search for LH Autologin on Activation and click “Install now”
- Alternatively, download the plugin and upload the contents of ‘lh-autologin-on-activation’ to your plugins directory, which usually is ‘/wp-content/plugins/’.
- Activate the plugin. Your buddypress signups are now much smoother.
Faq
This does not add any extra risk. If people have access to the account email, they can reset the password, or set up an account with that email anyway.
LH Buddypress login on activation, and all https://lhero.org plugins are made to WordPress standards. Therefore they should work with all well coded plugins and themes. However not all plugins and themes are well coded (and this includes many popular ones).
If something does not work properly, firstly deactivate ALL other plugins and switch to one of the themes that come with core, e.g. twentyfirteen, twentysixteen etc.
