LKR Currency Symbol Changer is a lightweight WooCommerce plugin that replaces the default Sri Lankan Rupee currency symbol (රු.) with “Rs.” throughout your store.

The plugin is simple, lightweight, and requires no configuration. Once activated, all WooCommerce prices displayed in LKR will automatically use “Rs.” instead of the default symbol.

  1. Upload the plugin to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install it through the WordPress Plugins screen.
  2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress.
  3. Ensure your WooCommerce store currency is set to Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR).
  4. That’s it. Your store will now display Rs. as the currency symbol.

Does this affect other currencies?

No. The plugin only modifies the symbol for the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR).

Does this change the currency format?

No. It only replaces the currency symbol. WooCommerce continues to handle currency position, decimal separators, and number formatting according to your store settings.
