Loyalty Points & Rewards for Square Highlights

This plugin creates square loyalty account for customer on Square and adds points using API whenever a user purchased a product on the WooCommerce. Customer will earn loyalty/rewards points based on the loyalty program settings on store owners’ Square account’s loyalty program settings. Customer’s loyalty points remains sync seamlessly once customer account is created between Square and Woocommerce.

Customer will be able to view their accumulated Square Loyalty Points right on my account section of WooCommerce store.

This plugin connects to the following external services to enable Square loyalty
integration with WooCommerce. These services are required for the plugin to function.

Wumento Middleware (middleware.wumento.com)

This service is used to connect your WooCommerce store to your Square account. It
creates and validates authentication tokens to establish a secure connection between
WooCommerce and Square.

It sends authentication tokens during the initial store connection setup and whenever
the authentication token needs to be validated. No customer or store data is stored
in any external location during this process — everything remains in your WordPress
database.

Wumento API (api.wumento.com)

This service acts as an intermediary between your WooCommerce store and Square’s API.
All requests are sent to api.wumento.com, which communicates with Square on your
behalf, processes the response, and returns the result to your store.

During admin setup, it sends the selected store location and authentication token to
retrieve loyalty program details from Square.

On the frontend, it sends the customer’s email address, phone number, and order total
when checking loyalty point balances and when awarding points after a completed order.

Data is only transmitted for real-time processing and is not stored in any external
location — everything remains in your WordPress database.

Square (squareup.com)

Because api.wumento.com communicates with Square on your behalf, customer and order
data is also transmitted to Square’s servers for loyalty processing.

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

AUTOMATIC INSTALLATION (EASIEST WAY)

To do an automatic install of ‘Loyalty Points & Rewards for Square’, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.
In the search field type ‘Loyalty Points & Rewards for Square’.

Once you have found it you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now” and then “Activate”.

MANUAL INSTALLATION

Installing through WordPress Dashboard

• Download loyalty-points-and-rewards-for-square.zip
• Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
• Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
• Select loyalty-points-and-rewards-for-square.zip from your computer
