Recommended installation for Online Booking & Scheduling for WordPress by vcita

  1. Connect to WordPress admin panel
  2. Click the “Plugins” menu on the left and choose “Add New”.
  3. Search for “Online Booking & Scheduling for WordPress by vcita” and install it.
  4. After the plugin installation has finished, activate the plugin and click on the “let’s get started” button to create your account on vcita.
  5. Navigate to the “Add to Site” tab and customise your widget look and feel.
  6. Navigate to the settings tab and click on the “Start Wizard” button. Set up your scheduling preferences using vcita’s super friendly scheduling wizard.
  7. That’s it. Now Your clients can book with you.
Can clients book an appointment with me outside my working hours?

When using online scheduling your clients will be able to book an appointment at any time. However, you can customize your hours of availability to your liking. By default the working days & hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

Can I sync my calendar with vcita?

Yes, vcita’s calendar enables you to sync with all other calendars such as Gmail, iCal, Outlook etc. With a click of a button your vcita calendar will be integrated to your prepared calendar. You will be able to see all the meetings that are scheduled on vcita, and most importantly avoid double bookings.

I want to use vcita’s scheduling widget just on specific pages on my site. Is it possible?

Can I send reminders to clients?

Yes, By default your clients will get a reminder email 30 minutes before the meeting. You can change how many minutes/hours/days in advance, they will get the alert. You can also create another reminder if needed. Reminders can also be sent via sms

No phone support!

Customer support used to include phone support but now they seem to have eliminated this. I've been with them for years and when you need support, you usually need it quickly. Without phone support this is no longer an option.

LISTEN! If you need a scheduling software that can DO IT ALL, this is the one. I am a web designer, and not only do I incorporate it on my own site, I resell it to help out my web clients, while creating a passive income stream for myself. If you're a web designer, look no further than Vcita.

Description does not say subscription is needed

I have no problem with premium plugins, nor do I have a problem with plugins that have a scaled down version and a pro version. What I do have a problem with is a company that lists the "Trial version" of their rather expensive premium plugin in the WordPress repository and does not mention in the description at all that it is a trial version and that if you want to keep the hours of work you spent setting it up, you will have to convince your client to pay a high premium. There isn't even a description of what will be left of the plugin after the trial period runs out in another week. I just have to wait and see, but I am not hopeful that I can use the plugin at all. I am extremely disappointed. I feel tricked. If there was a way to report this abuse to WordPress I certainly would.
