Midrag Trust Widget is built for companies that have earned the Midrag Trust seal — awarded exclusively by Midrag, Israel’s largest consumer review platform, trusted by over 1,200,000 users.

What is the Midrag Trust seal?
The Midrag Trust seal is granted only to companies that pass a rigorous, independent verification process. To qualify, a company must achieve over 90% customer satisfaction, based on authentic reviews collected from a complete and unfiltered customer list — no editing.

Companies that earn the seal receive a unique Company GUID, which is used to display their verified badge on trust.midrag.co.il.

What does this plugin do?
This plugin displays the Midrag Trust smart badge on every page of your website. Visitors can interact with the badge to read all your verified customer reviews — without leaving your site.

The badge is fully configurable: choose widget type, position, size, color, and offsets separately for desktop and mobile.

Important: This plugin requires an active Midrag Trust seal and a Company GUID provided by Midrag Trust. Make sure the domain where you install the plugin matches the domain registered with Midrag Trust.

External services

This plugin connects to an external service provided by Midrag (https://trust.midrag.co.il) in order to display the Midrag Trust Widget on the website.
When a valid Company GUID is configured, the plugin loads a JavaScript file from trust.midrag.co.il on every front-end page.
This script renders the trust badge, which displays the company’s Midrag rating and review count. When visitors click the badge, an iframe opens showing the full reviews collected by Midrag for that company, without leaving the site.
The data sent to the service includes the Company GUID and the widget configuration chosen by the site administrator (such as widget type, color, position, size, and offset settings). This data is embedded as HTML attributes on the script tag.
Since the script is loaded directly by the visitor’s browser, standard HTTP request headers (such as the visitor’s IP address and user agent) are transmitted to trust.midrag.co.il as part of the request. The plugin does not collect or send any additional personal visitor data.
No scripts are loaded if the Company GUID field is left empty.

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install through the WordPress admin screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
  3. A notification will appear with a link to the settings page.
  4. Enter your Company GUID (provided by Midrag Trust).
  5. Configure position, size, and display options as needed.
  6. Click “Save Settings”.

Who can use this plugin?

Only companies that have earned the Midrag Trust seal and received a unique Company GUID after passing the verification process.

Where do I find my Company GUID?

Your Company GUID is provided by Midrag Trust after your company successfully passes the verification process. It appears at the end of your company page URL on trust.midrag.co.il.

What happens if I don’t enter a GUID?

The badge will not be displayed on the site until a valid Company GUID is entered in the settings page.

The badge appears but the reviews page isn’t loading — what should I check?

This is usually a domain mismatch issue. When your company receives a GUID,
Midrag Trust registers your domain automatically as part of the process.
If the iframe isn’t loading review content, make sure the domain where the
plugin is installed matches the domain registered with Midrag Trust
(for example, installing on a staging subdomain or a different domain than
the one on file may cause this). If you’re unsure, contact Midrag Trust to
confirm which domain is registered for your account.

What widget types are available?

Three types are available: Pentagon (pentagon-shaped badge, supports black/white color), Circle (round badge), and Side (badge attached to the edge of the screen).

Can I set different positions for desktop and mobile?

Yes. You can choose an independent position and size for desktop and mobile, as well as separate X/Y offsets for each.

Does the plugin load any third-party scripts?

Yes. Once a valid GUID is entered, the plugin loads the Midrag Trust badge script from trust.midrag.co.il on every page. No scripts are loaded if the GUID field is empty.
