Description

MochiPay adds a payment gateway to WooCommerce Classic Checkout and Checkout Block. Customers can pay through an on-site payment dialog or the MochiPay hosted payment page (HPP). The plugin displays the exact payable amount, network, receiving address and QR code. MochiPay checks payment status and sends callbacks; the plugin verifies the saved order before completing it.

Supported payment methods are USDT on TRON (TRC20), native TRX on TRON, USDC on Ethereum (ERC20), BTC on Bitcoin, ETH on Ethereum and SOL on Solana. Offer only methods for which your MochiPay account has an active receiving wallet. Native TRX and USDT/TRC20 are different assets on the same network.

The buyer payment interface supports multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Spanish, and more. Merchant setup remains in English.

A MochiPay merchant account and an active service subscription are required to process payments. The plugin itself is GPL licensed; service details and pricing are available at MochiPay.

External service and data

This plugin connects your store to the MochiPay service at https://mochi.bz/ to create and query payment orders. When a customer chooses this gateway, the store sends the merchant order reference, amount, currency, chosen payment method, item summary, billing contact and address details, customer IP address, and callback/return URLs to MochiPay. The store also sends its configured API credentials with authenticated requests. MochiPay returns payment details and status, and sends status notifications to the store.

See the MochiPay terms and privacy policy. Configure this gateway only after reviewing how your store informs customers about payment processing.

  1. Install and activate the plugin through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, or from the WordPress.org Plugin Directory.
  2. Open WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > MochiPay.
  3. Enter your merchant API key and secret, choose the checkout mode and enable only configured payment methods.
  4. Save the settings and complete a test checkout, including payment-status and callback verification, before accepting live payments.

Requires WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 5.8 or later, PHP 7.4 or later, HTTPS, and the PHP extensions needed by WordPress and WooCommerce. Confirm that your specific WordPress and WooCommerce versions support your PHP version.

Can customers pay without leaving my store?

Yes. ON_SITE shows the payment dialog on the merchant site. HPP sends the customer to the MochiPay hosted page. Both use the same payment order.

Does the plugin automatically accept an incorrect amount?

No. Underpaid, overpaid, expired and inconsistent payments require review. A browser return alone does not prove payment.

How do I update an existing installation?

Update the plugin in place and keep your existing gateway settings and order data. Do not uninstall the old version as an upgrade step. Clear storefront caches and verify a staging checkout after updating.

1.5.24

  • Place sandbox simulation controls before the QR code with consistent spacing and responsive buttons.
  • Refresh checkout stylesheet cache after the layout correction.

1.5.23

  • Fix sandbox checkout creation by passing the configured MochiPay URL to payment-view validation.
  • Keep the existing HTTPS destination checks and production payment verification.

1.5.22

  • Leave checkout descriptions blank by default and preserve cleared values in classic and block checkout.
  • Preserve existing custom descriptions.

1.5.21

  • Refresh the compact QR-first buyer checkout with a centered asset icon and matching address/amount copy actions.
  • Show visible localized copy confirmation and clipboard-failure feedback.
  • Synchronize the countdown with the saved server deadline and retain expired QR/address masks.
  • Align the close button, focus styling, spacing and long-address wrapping.
  • Expand buyer language choices, including Traditional Chinese, Swedish, Vietnamese, Polish, Finnish and Danish.
  • Preserve configured wallets, saved payment attempts and authenticated callback/order verification.

1.5.19

  • Add native TRX on TRON alongside USDT/TRC20, USDC, BTC, ETH and SOL.
  • Preserve gateway settings and order bindings during in-place updates.
