More Mails for CF7

Description

By default, Contact Form 7 has a limit of two distinct mail messages per form, though each can have multiple recipients. This plugin allows you to add as many as you need. It’s relatively simple, so does not include the automatic configuration error detection that the default mails have.

If you only wish to send the same message to multiple recipients, you won’t need this plugin; instead use the To field, or add Cc/Bcc headers in the Additional Headers field as per Contact Form 7’s documentation.

Tested up to v6.1.2 of Contact Form 7.

  1. Install and activate the plugin the usual way on the Plugins admin page.
  2. Go to Contact > More mails, to set the maximum number of Mail sections you need per form, and save.
  3. Edit each form that requires an additional mail message.

Solves a problem with MailPoet

By tommcgee on April 11, 2023

MailPoet presents a conflict, where if you have it activated it will send a CF7 form response to only one address, regardless of what you have in the cc: or to: fields. While CF7's built-in functionality only lets you set up two mail messages, by using this I'm able to get responses out to all of the six people who need to see them by creating a separate email message for each.

great plugin because very light

I was looking for a plugin that integrated with the famous cf7. My need was to send more emails without using Cc tags or Bcc, an inconvenient method because whoever received the email could also reply to those who shouldn't have. So great plugin because very light, with little php code and very simple to use. The assistance is also excellent. I highly recommend

I was trying to work out how to do this for ages and then came across your plugin (I wanted to send a login and a password as two separate emails). Set up a 3rd email and it worked a treat out the box. Email three arrived seconds before email two. I'd give a kidney or first born son if you could also work out how to delay transmission of email 3, say by 20 minutes. That would be something of a phenomenon.
