N3 Chat

N3 Chat is a hosted AI chat widget service (n3chat.com) that answers visitor questions from your own site content, captures leads, and can book meetings. This plugin connects your WordPress site to your N3 Chat account and adds the widget for you – it is a client for that hosted service, not a standalone chatbot, and requires an N3 Chat account (a free tier is available).

What this plugin does

• Adds a “Connect to N3 Chat” button that signs your site up (or connects an existing N3 Chat account) with no copy-pasting of code.
• Automatically proves your site’s domain ownership to N3 Chat – the manual DNS/file-upload verification step other integrations need is done for you.
• Loads the N3 Chat widget script (https://n3chat.com/chat-widget.js) via WordPress’s standard wp_enqueue_script, once your site is connected and verified.

Data sent to N3 Chat

Connecting this plugin sends your site’s domain to N3 Chat (n3chat.com) to create or match your account’s site record, and your site serves a short verification file so N3 Chat can confirm you control the domain. Once connected, your site’s visitors interact with the N3 Chat widget directly, per N3 Chat’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No data is sent to N3 Chat before you click Connect.

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Go to Settings > N3 Chat.
3. Click “Connect to N3 Chat” and sign in (or sign up for free).
4. That’s it – the widget is live once the connection is confirmed.

If your server’s outbound requests are restricted, use the manual “Site ID + Token” fields on the same settings page instead (found on the domain verification screen in your N3 Chat dashboard).
