Meta pixel for WordPress
Version: 4.1.5
Description
This plugin will install a Meta Pixel for your page so you can capture the actions people take when they interact with your page, such as Lead, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase events. It also includes support for the Conversions API.
You’ll be able to see when customers took an action after seeing your ad on Facebook and Instagram, which can help you with retargeting. And when you use the Conversions API alongside the Pixel, it creates a more reliable connection that helps the delivery system decrease your costs. Learn More
The Conversions API is designed to create a direct connection between your marketing data and the Meta systems, which help optimise ad targeting, decrease cost per action and measure results across Meta technologies. Learn More

It's got better

The plugin has improved in UI and UX recently. It was easy to setup pixel and CAPI. I think more documentation and instructions in the plugin will help users understand more what's happening and give users the confidence that they have set things up correctly. Eg. having the ability to set up CAPI events for specific page view triggers.

It's great that you can use this plugin to manage Meta pixels for Ads and Audiences. I think it's going to improve a lot.

I just installed it so I don't know the results yet. But the facility prevents everything well and better than I expected.
PHP 8.1 code with auto updates can crash websites with older versions
By Night (Nightw0lv) on November 18, 2024
The fact that after 4 years they added minimum requirement PHP 8.1 without notice just from one update to another is a nightmare for developers that will automatically break their site, and for that is -1 star not even 1, I like the latest technologies too but its not for personal work.

Would be great if this plugin supported more PHP versions. Sadly it does not.
