OrphanPages scans your published content and identifies:

The plugin does not modify any posts or links.
It performs read-only analysis and displays the results in a clean, sortable table inside the WordPress admin.

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/orphanpages/,
    or install it via Plugins Add New.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. Open Orphaned Posts in the admin.
  4. Click Run Scan Now to generate your first report.
Does this plugin change or edit any content?

No. It never modifies posts, links, or metadata.

Does it affect frontend performance?

No. It runs only in the admin and only when manually requested.

Does it work with custom post types?

Yes. Any post type with public => true is included.

Do I need cron?

No. All scans are manual.

Does it support custom permalinks?

Yes. Canonical URL normalization ensures accurate matching.
