What This Plugin Does
This plugin lets you build galleries with filters. Users click a button to see one category. For example, they can pick “Web Design” to only see that work. This saves them from scrolling through many images.
You manage filters on one easy page. Create a filter once and use it on any image or video. This keeps your gallery neat and easy to manage.

Good plugin, fast and reliable support.

As a photographer I needed a more clean and modern look for a justified layout. I asked for support and was quite surprised that they were willing to work with me on it. Finally we got the results that I think we all can benefit now. Thank you.

I have been using this plugin (premium version) for four years now, and it has consistently performed very well. The support is excellent, and the plugin continues to be actively developed and improved.
Great plugin + support
By art1site on June 1, 2026
The photo gallery is perfect for a portfolio, and support was quick to respond when I had an issue (which wasn't even caused by the plugin, but by the theme my website used).
Best Photo Gallery!
By grav (lcasey@ucdlink.com) on May 28, 2026
Amazing photo gallery! This is the one to get! It's got beautiful styling, current, modern, and classic. It has all the key features, including filtering for galleries with many photos. It's flexible, intuitive, easy to use, has many options, and prompt support. The developers are responsive to feature requests and customization requests also.
Excellent plugin and support
By koelker12 on May 20, 2026
This is exactly what I was looking for on my portfolio site. Easy to use while still offering plenty of customization options for look and feel. Really like the way filters work and how I can tag entries as multiple categories, even setting one category to load by default which I use to show "Featured" entries first. While the free version is excellent on its own, I ended up purchasing the premium version because I wanted to use a couple of the extra customization features there and was pleased with the base functionality. And while I didn't expect to ever use the premium support, I did end up contacting the team for an issue my site was having on certain devices. Support responded and identified the issue immediately, which ended up being related to another plugin, not this one. So good experience on that front, too!
Working very good
By impressionestudio on May 14, 2026
Very good solution for filtering posts and pages.
One good idea is to somehow copy the created shortcode in the plugin and automatically adjust the settings in order to be able to slightly modify existing filters.
Very good filter lightbox gallery

Excellent plugin avec un excellent support
By marieeveplante on February 18, 2026
A great plugin for filter galleries !
By lauraperera on February 13, 2026
I'm color grader for the cinema industry and I have been using the free version of Portfolio Filter Gallery for several years now. It's a great plug-in for creating image galleries with filters! The free version allows you to create galleries with up to 7 customizable filters, to display an unlimited number of pictures (photos or videos), either in a regular grid (all pictures in the same format) or in a grid that adapts to the format of each picture. Each image can be opened in full size or linked to another page. The order of the images can be changed by simple drag-and-drop, and each image can belong to several filters. Each gallery is represented by a short code, which is easy to integrate into any page. It's great! I had once a problem with an update that caused me to lose the display of images in the desired order, and the plugin creators fixed the issue within 24 hours with a new version. Thank you for this very useful plugin for visual artists !
Bonne extension
By Atkheos on January 23, 2026
