Grid Kit requires at least PHP 5.3

You have two options to install the plugin:

  • Go to your WordPress admin panel
  • Click on Plugins » Add New
  • Then click on the Upload Plugin button
  • Choose the downloaded zip package of Grid Kit
  • Upload it
  • Activate Grid Kit from your plugins section

I’ve purchased premium version of Grid Kit, what should I do now?

After your purchase you’ll receive a confirmation email with download link and license key. Download zip package of Premium version, then install it from WordPress Plugins section.

Can I put 2 portfolio layouts on the same page?

Multiple portfolio layouts on the page is supported in the Premium version! More detailed information you can checkout here.

Cannot redeclare activation_hook() error message on installation!

Before installing Premium version, please make sure you’ve successfully uninstalled Free version! You can’t run Free & Premium versions together at the same time!

Note: Your data will not be lost during this procedure, unless you’ll manually cleanup / delete anything!

Can I configure banner slider?

Yes you can!
Note: Make sure the container where you inject your slider short-code uses full width template provided by your theme.

Does Grid Kit support carousels?

Yes it does!
You can build either standard photo gallery slider or multicolumn gallery carousels.

Should I worry about migrating my portfolio from localhost to production?

No, you shouldn’t!
The plugin uses WordPress native photo gallery assets. When you migrate your website from localhost to production, you shouldn’t face any issues!

great plugin

Excellent plugin, I don’t have much experience in creating websites and photo galleries, but I mastered this plugin and made a photo gallery on my website without any problems. I bought the paid version because I don’t want to spend a long time searching and trying something else if this product suits me and works great. Before installing GridKit, I tried other plugins, about 5-6, but I didn’t like any of them. I liked the plugin, so I recommend it.

Free is so Terrible I refuse to pay for premium

I should have known not to bother after watching the promo video on the plugin page. (BusinessMEN? Come on.) But this looked like exactly what I needed and I figured the free version would at least allow me to truly test what the plugin could do. Nope.

To start, there aren't any directions inside the plugin screens. NONE. I don't expect full documentation, just basic guidance. Didn't get any. I wanted to create a gallery of product images that linked out to various sites. I did that, then added to a page to see how it looked. Friends, it was terrible. A joke. Not even usable. In order to add any styling or any options at all beyond the basics (which doesn't even show the product description in a sensible way) I'd have to pay.

Nope.

I assume this is the same for the other gallery types. I uninstalled immediately and came here to post this review. That's how incensed I was about this.

There is no way that a plugin creator who hampers their free version in this manner is competent enough to create something worth paying for. I suggest you save your money.

Excellent Plugin, well worth the price

This is the best layout gallery portfolio plugin I have ever purchased. The organization of the filtered photo galleries is excellent and just what I needed. Excellent customer service too. It is well worth the price. Thank you for making an excellent helpful plugin. 

Free is worthless, paid is problematic.

I have been looking for a gallery module that I can use for a long time. I found this here. But I wasted my time. The free version is worthless. It's less than zero.And the paid one has a lot of bad reviews. Especially the support. And it's too expensive to buy without a real trial under these conditions.So it's a waste of time to bother with it.

Wow, this plugin is seriously amazing! I've been using it in so many different ways, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. The best part? Works like a charm

Grid Kit Premium not safe?

Grid Kit Premium is a super nice plugin to work with. But it is indeed a pity that (recently) the support desk no longer responds to questions… I also get the message from my security system that the plugin is no longer safe to use… • Grid Kit Premium <= 1.8.53 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Hopefully they'll fix that. It would be a shame if we can no longer use the plugin.

Great but lack of support

The plugin is really nice, but there is a bug with Vimeo videos : thumbnails are not loaded correctly. They are displayed in a bad way. No news from the customer care team for 1 year, I'm very disappointed. This is for a portfolio, this is just one small bug, but broken images are a dela breaker.
