Installation
- Upload to the
/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Optionally, opt-in to security and feature update notifications, including non-sensitive diagnostic tracking, with freemius.com. If you skip this, that’s okay! Prime Mover will still work just fine.
- You should see the Prime Mover Control Panel. Click “Go to Migration Tools” to start migrating sites.

Faq
- The free version has no restrictions on package size, number of websites, or migration mode (single-site or multisite will work). (Note: Exporting/Restoring a multisite main site is a PRO feature)
- The free version supports WordPress multisite migration on any number of subsites, except that exporting/restoring the multisite main site is a PRO feature.
- It can back up WordPress multisite sub-sites or migrate multisite.
- No need to delete your WordPress installation, create/delete the database, and all other technical stuff. It will save you a lot of time.
- This is not hosting-dependent. Prime Mover is designed to work with any hosting company you choose.
- The free version has full multisite migration functionality, usually missing in most migration plugins’ free versions.
- Full versatility—migrate from your local host dev site or from a live site to another live site.
- The entire migration will be done inside the WordPress admin. Anyone with administrator access can do it. Hiring a freelancer to do the job is unnecessary and will save you money.
- You won’t have to mess with complicated migration settings; the free version has built-in settings. You can choose only a few options to export and migrate—that’s it.
- You can save, download, delete, and migrate packages using the management page.

I needed something that would allow me to import a single site install into a multisite as a subsite. I had low expectations for this plugin, mostly because I have yet to find one that would do my bidding properly. Lots of other broken promises!
Prime mover knocked it out of the park. Homerun all the way. Promises kept, and now they have a new customer! (using version 2.07 on WP 6.8.1)
Frustrating at times, but works.

The plugin works brilliantly and supports Multisite, which Duplicator doesn't offer.
However, it's quite inconvenient because you have to install WordPress first, unlike Duplicator, which doesn’t require this step. Additionally, if your admin details aren't the same on the other site, the plugin forces you to reinstall WordPress, which is something it never warned me about beforehand.

I am an amateur wordpress user. All other backup & restore or migration plugins have not worked for my site moving. Maybe there some errors in my site. But by this Prime mover, I suceeded to migrate it. Very thanks to the developers!!

The plugin was amazing. As well as the support.
Had a huge staging multisite that I was able to transfer out 200+ subsites. Your plugin did exactly what I needed.
Any questions/issues I had along the way were answered or solved within 24 hours. At one point even had to grant access to both multisite environments.
Worth stating - current version (free or premium) do have to transfer one by one. But with premium version's package URL provided, one by one isn't complicated. Just a little time consuming. Did have to up server hard drive space, as well as manage deleting packages along the way to still manage space hah.
Was unable to find a plugin that transferred a giant multisite to a new multisite environment. This at least solved our problems on one by one basis.
