Installation
Minimum Requirements
- WordPress 5.0.0 or greater
- PHP version 7.3 or greater
- MySQL version 5.6 or greater
Automatic installation
Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t even need to leave your web browser.
- Go to your WordPress Plugin installation menu (Dashboard > Plugins > Add New)
- In the search field type “Product Addons” and press enter.
- “Install Now” and then click “Active”
Manual installation
For Manual installation, you download our product from WordPress directory uploading it to your web-server via your FTP or CPanel application.
- Download the plugin and unzip it
- Using an FTP program or CPanel upload the unzipped plugin folder to your WordPress installation’s wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu (Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins) within the WordPress admin.
Upgrading
Automatic update working great for this plugin. If you customize the plugin make sure to store a backup before update.
Sometimes because of the permalink issue during the plugin update, just go to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and hit the ‘Save’ button.

I’ve been testing WowAddons together with WowStore and WowRevenue, and I’m really impressed by how much functionality it adds to standard WooCommerce. It offers many advanced features that are usually available only through separate paid extensions — such as conditional logic, color swatches, countdown timers, popups, and other dynamic elements.
The Color Swatches field works very well and adds a professional look to product variations. The Telephone field is also a nice addition, but it would be great if it could automatically detect the user’s location and prefill the country flag and code — that would make the checkout process even smoother.
Another strong part of WowAddons is the built-in analytics, which give you a quick overview of how different elements perform and help track user engagement directly inside WordPress.
The plugin still feels like it’s under active development — everything works quite reliably, but the documentation could be more user-friendly and include more practical examples on how to set up each feature effectively.
Overall, WowAddons is a flexible and well-designed plugin that significantly expands WooCommerce functionality. With a few refinements and better documentation, it could easily become one of the best multi-feature add-ons for WordPress eCommerce sites.

WowAddons is exactly what I needed for my WooCommerce store. I sell custom products, and this plugin makes it so easy for customers to personalize their orders. The file upload feature is fantastic - customers can upload their designs for t-shirts and mugs, and I can add pricing for different options. The color swatches, date/time pickers, and dropdowns work flawlessly. Setting everything up was way easier than I expected with the drag-and-drop builder, and the conditional logic feature is super useful for showing or hiding options based on what customers select.
The dynamic pricing is brilliant - prices update automatically as customers add options, which has really helped increase my average order value. I love that I can assign custom fields to specific products or entire categories at once. The plugin is lightweight and doesn't slow down my site, which was a big concern for me. My only wish is that it had better integration with Kadence theme and Kadence ShopKit - it works fine, but smoother integration would make it even better.
Overall, this is a solid plugin that does exactly what it promises. If you need to offer product customization or extra options on your WooCommerce store, WowAddons is definitely worth it. Much better than the other product addon plugins I've tried. Five stars!
