Description

Redirects a post (or any other any post-type) with a custom field ’redirect’ to another URL

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Add a custom field redirect with an url value to a post. Easy.
  4. View the post.

I see that there was a previous review asking the same question, the answer was not particularly clear. It says to add ’redirect’ to the custom field. Should there be a redirect option in the drop-down menu in custom fields in the post page? because I don't see one or are we to add some code/ shortcode to the actual post, a more detailed description of how this works would be very helpful. Screenshots would be nice.
