Remove Author Column

Removes the author column on Edit Posts page (for custom post types as well). The author column doesn’t make sense on single author blogs. By removing it, you can save precious real estate and use other useful plugins like [Simply Show Ids] (https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simply-show-ids/) which will show the ID of the posts, categories, tags etc.

Upgrade

1. Use the plugin updater in WordPress or…
2. Delete the previous remove-author-column folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
3. Upload the new remove-author-column folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

Usage

1. Just install and activate.

1. Upload the remove-author-column folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or install directly through the plugin installer.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress or by using the link provided by the plugin installer
