Description
If you are working with a WordPress site and getting the dreaded “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.” message, fret no more! WordPress has a config that allows you to enable unfiltered uploads This, however, does not always work.
Use this plugin into your project and viola! You will have unfettered uploads.
Installation
- Go to plugins->Add New. Click on Upload Plugin.
2) Browse the downloaded zip file And click install now. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- You are Done.

I couldn't get the "unfiltered uploads" config to work in the wp-config.php for some reason. I used this plugin and voila! It worked!
