Free and paid plans
The plugin is free. The ReputeMap free plan includes the review widget for one Google location, with no card needed. On the free plan the widget shows a small “Powered by ReputeMap” link; the ReputeMap service adds it to the widget it serves, and this plugin adds no links or credits of its own.
Paid ReputeMap plans add replies to reviews written with AI, alerts about new reviews, more locations, and a widget without the ReputeMap link. See plans and prices.
Light on your site
The plugin stores a widget token and your options in your WordPress database. It makes no requests from your server, loads nothing on pages without the widget, and adds one small asynchronous script where the widget is placed. The widget draws your reviews inside its own Shadow DOM, so your theme’s styles and the widget’s styles do not clash.
This plugin relies on the ReputeMap service. Please read the “External services” section below.
External services
This plugin connects your site to ReputeMap (https://reputemap.com), a service that collects your Google reviews and serves the review widget. It is needed to show the reviews. The plugin itself makes no requests from your server; all requests below are made by a browser.
- Showing the widget (api.reputemap.com). On every page that contains the block or the shortcode, the visitor’s browser loads the widget script from
https://api.reputemap.com/api/public/widget/<your widget token>.jsand then your review data fromhttps://api.reputemap.com/api/public/widget/<your widget token>. The settings page does the same for the preview when an administrator opens it. These requests send the widget token, the address of the page the widget is on (the browser’s Origin and Referer headers), and what every web request contains: the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent. ReputeMap uses the site address to show you where your widget is installed. No cookies are sent or set. - Connecting (app.reputemap.com). When an administrator clicks “Connect with ReputeMap (free)”, the browser opens
https://app.reputemap.com/widgetwith the address of this site’s ReputeMap settings page, a one-time security code, and labels saying the visit came from the WordPress plugin (source=wordpressandutm_*parameters). After sign-in and the location choice, ReputeMap sends the browser back to that settings page with the widget token, the same security code and the business name, which the plugin saves in your database. - Links. “Manage the widget in ReputeMap”, “See plans and prices”, and the “Powered by ReputeMap” link that the service shows on the free plan open reputemap.com pages only when someone clicks them.

Reviews are fetched by ReputeMap from your Google Business Profile with your permission; Google’s terms apply to that content.

Yes. Reviews come from your Google Business Profile, which you connect in ReputeMap. The free account is created during “Connect with ReputeMap (free)”.
On the free plan the ReputeMap service adds a small “Powered by ReputeMap” link to the widget it serves. The link is not added by this plugin. Paid plans show the widget without it.

Options you leave out use the defaults from Settings ReputeMap Reviews.
The editor shows a placeholder with the chosen options. The live widget appears on the published page and in the preview on the settings page.
- Settings ReputeMap Reviews should say “Connected” and show the widget in the preview.
- If you use a plugin that delays, combines or moves JavaScript, exclude
api.reputemap.comfrom it. The widget appears right after its script tag, so the tag must stay where the block or shortcode put it. - The floating layout appears in a corner of the window, not in the page content.
- If the ReputeMap account stops covering the widget, the widget renders nothing instead of an error.
This version keeps one widget token per site. Paid ReputeMap plans include more locations; for another location, paste its embed code from ReputeMap into a Custom HTML block.
No. The widget script loads your review data from api.reputemap.com without cookies.
Disconnect removes the widget token from this site, and the widget stops showing. Deleting the plugin removes its options and stored data from your database. Your ReputeMap account is not changed in either case.
