Powerful and flexible – but not free
By Martin Sauter (martin.sauter) on December 3, 2025
This plugin is an excellent choice when it comes to rendering webpage content into a PDF document. It is feature-rich and highly configurable. The PDF document is not generated on your webserver but on a third-party server operated by PDFCrowd, which eliminates many potential problems.
Without a paid subscription, all generated PDF documents contain a demo watermark and a PDFCrowd branding. While I absolutely understand that developing a plugin and a service on that level needs funding, I am not sure if a plugin that is useless without a subscription should be listed in this repository.
free version is USELESS
By castigamatti2 on July 26, 2025
There's no point in fooling people with a free version that requires an API key to activate, which only lasts 30 days and consumes credits; after that, you have to pull out your credit card…
Great Plugin and Knowledgeable Support
By webdevmann on April 18, 2025
This plugin accomplished just what we needed for a large clients website. When we ran into an emergency issue, support was quick to respond and did help to provide the solution. This support was a lifesaver to prevent damaging the client relationship \o/

Top plugin, even better support
By (brenb) on August 7, 2024
I'm using this plugin to create print-ready point of sale graphics via a CPT. It was very easy to set-up and the results, even after minimal tweaks, are just excellent.
I had a couple of queries regarding functionality and Pavel got back to me within minutes, and, more importantly, not only answered my questions but also pointed me in the direction of a better solution to what I needed to do.
I've not even got into using it on the live site yet, but based on my testing I'm very confident it will work beautifully.
Perfect plugin + top support

I love this plugin and the functionality it adds to our website - for a decent price. Thank you very much for your super helpful and fast responding support!
Fantastic Plugin
By ronbo64 on July 12, 2023
I had been using another popular pdf plugin with pretty good success. However, it was always a bit finicky, spacing never quite right, etc. After a little frustration, I searched again and found this PDFCrowd plugin.
I was super excited about how cleanly the formatting, including spacing, came across from my wordpress pages.
I am not a programmer, but have a somewhat technical background. I needed a couple of minor tweaks to the set up (eg. manual page break, image borders, images not breaking across pages, etc.). I was even more excited at the support provided to assist me with these items.
This is probably more expensive than the other options out there, but the quality of the pdf rendering stands above the rest, at least for my site. I highly recommend this plugin.
MUST HAVE plugin for saving pages and posts as PDF file
By ignitemedical on April 14, 2023
AWESOME plugin for saving pages/posts as a pdf. We ended up purchasing the pro version as well and support was quick and accurate for helping us with a small issue.
How is this allowed in the WordPress repository?
By AJD on February 9, 2023
I understand allowing 'freemium' plugins, but this is just a pitch for the paid version as it is not usable without paying:
"The plugin runs in the demo by default. It is fully functional but adds a watermark and Pdfcrowd branding over the content."
Best PDF solution so far!
