Installation
Through Dashboard
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel and go to Plugins -> Add New
- Type scroll top in the search box and click on search button.
- Find ID Back To Top plugin.
- Then click on Install Now after that activate the plugin.
- Go to Settings -> Back To Top.
Installing Via FTP
- Download the plugin to your hardisk.
- Unzip.
- Upload the “scroll-top” folder into your plugins directory.
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel and click the Plugins menu.
- Then activate the plugin.
- Go to Settings -> Back To Top.

Simple, lightweight, just works!

If you're looking for a no frills back to top button that works, this is it. It offers plenty of customization all things considered. It's only 172kb in size, which is a fraction of the size of others. The best thing about this plugin is that it works super well with no tuning required on a website that is heavily speed optimized. I tried two other back to top plugins including another lightweight and one advanced one, and both didn't work unless I added delay javascript exceptions, sometimes multiple, and thus adding more requests to my pageload. This one, I installed, changed the color to match my theme, and that was it. Good stuff!
