Description
Automatically share WordPress posts on Mastodon.
You choose which post types are shared, and sharing can still be disabled on a per-post basis.
Supports WordPress’ new block editor, image uploads and alt text, “template tags,” and comes with a number of filter hooks for developers.

Installation
Within WordPress’ admin interface, visit Plugins > Add New and search for “share on mastodon” to locate the plugin. (Alternatively, upload this plugin’s ZIP file via the “Upload Plugin” button.)
After activation, head over to Settings > Share on Mastodon to authorize WordPress to post to your Mastodon account.

Very simple, for better or worse

Very easy to install and setup, it simply posts the title of your post and its url to Mastodon. I would like to see a slight increase in customisability, so you could maybe add some default text and hashtags to that post (''New post from This Blog: [title][url] # # # ''). If thats not added I'll likely move away from this plugin to a more advanced one.

UPDATE: This was user error, apparently you need to include the https:// too
Unable to use this as it claims that 'botsin.space' is an invalid URL/instance.
