  1. Upload the payment-icons-plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin directly via the WordPress plugins screen.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Use the Payment Icons settings page to configure which icons are displayed.
  4. Optional: fill in the ‘icon order’ field with the ‘keys’ of your payment methods to change the default, alphabetical order.
  5. Add the shortcode [spopm_PM] to any page, post, or widget where you want the icons to appear.

Yes, you can adjust the size of the payment method icons in pixels. The default is set to 65px.

Can I adjust the spacing between the icons?

Yes, you can adjust the spacing between the payment method icons in pixels. The default is set to 5px.

Can I change the order of the icons?

Yes, you can change the order of the icons.

What’s the shape of the icons?

You can choose between rectangle and square icons.

Great plugin. Does something small but important cleanly and simply. Includes plenty of customisation.

Caused 300,000+ hits stopping my site from working

After installing, my site would not load for customers. I contacted my hosting provider who helped narrow down the issue to this plugin creating over 300,000 calls. I do not recommend installing until this is resolved. It worked great for the first few hours, then all of a sudden my site began to load at a crawl due to the surge of seemingly spam traffic. Once I removed the plugin, the site began loading smoothly as normal.

A significant portion of this traffic — approximately 343,992 hits — appears to be targeting the following plugin: 343,992 /wp-content/plugins/showcase-payment-options-icons/js/spopm-payment-icons-plugin.js?

Based on this, we recommend reviewing the Showcase Payment Options Icons plugin. You may also try temporarily disabling it to see if this helps resolve the loading issue.
