Add post thumbnail image to RSS feed
Description
Adds the post thumbnail to the RSS feed using the XML tag specified in the Media RSS Specification, as well as an IMG tag in the RSS content.
Installation
- Upload the
shp-rssimagefolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Ich nutze Active Campaign (und früher auch MailChimp). Einfache Anmeldung, einfache Umsetzung. Nur eines wollte mir nicht gelingen: dass jedem Beitrag in der E-Mail das Beitragsbild vorangestellt wurde.
Ich habe das RSS-Featured-Image-Plugin auf 4 verschiedenen WordPress-Installationen getestet und es läuft wunderbar!
