Installation

On your dashboard, navigate to Plugins
Click on Add New button
On search field, type “Simple GDPR Cookie Compliance”
Once you find the plugin, click on Install Now button
After successful installation of the plugin, click on Activate button to activate plugin

Amazing Simple and Honest Plugin. 5 Starts!

But please, add support to Multi-language display. I tried to translate my custom message with Loco translation and WPML, but it doesn't happen.

This is such a simple concept and yet every plugin on the market tries to put in so much unnecessary functionality. This plugin is simple and clean and it works.

Fast and simple, but not support more lanuages

Perfect plugin for GDPR, simple and verry fast, but it does not support multilingual display. I hope they will add it in the next versions.

But I definitely recommend it!

The plugin is lightweight and does its job, but you can't say it's really lightweight if your code line depends on jQuery which is considered too heavy a library. You should use native vanilla Javascript, not jQuery. There are Themes and Plugins that do not depend on jQuery in order not to alter the performance of the website. This is not the case.

Update: The author stopped relying on jQuery code, replaced it with the native one which makes the website more optimal.

I must have tested about 10 different plugins, always with exaggerated, complicated, unnecessary options and in order to sell a paid plan.

In this plugin I could find everything I need: customize colors, messages and notification positions. Simple and functional.

I allow myself a remark, there would be the possibility that the message is displayed only once on the home page and not some of the other pages visited, as is practically the case.
