Installation

Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
Search for ‘Simple Posts Ticker’ and install it.
Or you can upload the simple-posts-ticker folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory manually.
Activate Simple Posts Ticker from your Plugins page.
After activation go to ‘Settings > Simple Posts Ticker’.
Configure settings according to your need and save changes.

Faq

How to add this to your site?

If you want to add this somewhere else on your site, like header, footer, sidebar, etc, then probably the easiest way is to go to Appearance, Widgets, and place a text widget somewhere in your layout, and use the shortcode in that.

Is this plugin support custom post types?

Yes. this plugin automatically detects all custom post types and shows all of them as a drop down in plugin settings. You need to just select it from plugin settings.

So far, It does the job without any hassles. I wish it included in the settings a section to add a separation icon between scrolling posts titles.

Use to love it. Now I do not love it. When I deleted this app, it left the short code at the top of every page. Can't see where was entered, maybe app did it. No answer anywhere online.

Very Useful Plugin

Had some initial issues which I was able to resolve by uninstalling and reinstalling. It may have been user error or a plugin conflict. At any rate since then it is working as described in the documentation. Very pleased with the simplicity and ease of set up. Many thanks for a very useful plugin!

Ticker breaks - Worst support

The problem is- every time, when I go to my homepage or load any page, this ticker breaks and shows all post title insides of it, and after few second it become normal. It looks really odd! Specially when we visit site from mobile. It took a large area on screen to display ticker. Even I submitted a support ticket, nobody replied there. so, 1 star.
