Description
Managing affiliate links gets messy fast. You paste a long tracking URL into a post, then another, then another. When an offer changes, you dig through old content hoping you catch every instance.
Lasso Lite is a free WordPress plugin for people who promote products with those links (including Amazon Associates). It keeps your links in one dashboard, cloaks them behind short URLs on your site, and turns them into product displays with images, prices, and buttons.
Example: use yoursite.com/go/best-kayak instead of a long Amazon URL. Change the destination once, and every place that link appears stays current.

Your first five minutes
- Install and activate Lasso Lite
- Click Add New Link and paste an offer URL
- Insert it into a post with the Lasso Lite block or the
[lasso]shortcode - Publish. Your cloaked link is live (add a product display if you want one).

Installation
- Go to Plugins > Add New and search for Lasso Lite (Formerly Simple URLs).
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Open Lasso Lite in the admin menu.
- Click Add New Link, paste an offer URL, and save.
- Edit a post, insert the Lasso Lite block (or
[lasso]shortcode), and choose your link. - Publish, then click the cloaked link to confirm the redirect.

Great starting point for a new site

I almost skipped this because of some of the reviews, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. I imported my links and pretty much forgot about it.
A little later I signed up for a free account, and now some of my Amazon links automatically earn higher commission rates. I didn’t really have to change anything.
Ended up upgrading to the Pro version, but the free plugin was a good way to get started and see if it was worth it.
Very good tech support when I needed it

I had a glitch and tech support was right on top of it. They were going to go so far as to clone the site and work out the glitch. (I think in hindsight, it may have been my fault.)
It turned out not to be needed, however, I'm impressed. Love the _professional_ compaines!

Its pretty early but customer service appears to be on point. I am floored that they don't have a Divi integration, but heres hoping to the future. I left thirsty affiliates because it just doesnt work with Divi without having to do the cumbersome act of collecting the short codes. I am basing my review on customer service at this point and will update when I have a bit more to go on.
Banner That Never Goes Away

I asked the plugin dev how to get rid of the banner and he stated once its dismissed, its permanent which is a blatant lie. When it was Simple URL's it was great, now the most annoying plugin in the repo.
Need to work out how to migrate out of Lasso permanently.

Very good plugin

The affiliate links on my website were a mess and all needed replacing. This plugin is so good and allows the creation of attractive affilate links which are also easy to manage. There is not a whole amount of customisation - but what do you expect with the free version? Definitely 100% recommended from me.
Simple And Effective!

This is an excellent option if you want a simple plugin to display neat Amazon Affiliate boxes. It's free and works. Sure, it doesn't have a full range of different styles, but if you want that, upgrade and get the complete Lasso plugin! I've just moved over from AAWP!
Great functionality

I've been investigating various options for affiliate marketing, and aside from Lasso, I haven't come across another that has the functionality I need. The product boxes look great, and I love the link management.

Looks very good in blog articles. It happened once that the plug in was out of the sudden uninstalled. Luckily all products were stored after I reinstalled it all.
