Yes, the plugin and registering an account at SimplyBook.me is entirely free, without the need to add credit card information. You can fully use the booking widget and use our mobile app for iOS or Android to manage your bookings, up to 50 bookings per month. Additionally, you can even use 1 of our ‘Special Features’ within the Free plan.
Yes you can! You will automatically be granted a 14-day trial period that allows you to test all Special Features, configure all Service Providers and to gather unlimited bookings. After this trial period you will be reset to the Free plan, or you can decide to subscribe to our paid plans if you like to use multiple Special Features or need more than 50 bookings per month.
Yes, we need to authenticate your site as your bookings will be processed through our API. This allows us to provide you with the best features such as the mobile app for iOS and Android. The plugin will assist you through the short onboarding process. Alternatively, you can register an account at https://simplybook.me
You can skip the onboarding and login with your existing login credentials.

I have a Client whose website uses the SimplyBook system and plugin and when updating to the latest version (luckily on a staging site!!), the plugin crashed the site and had to be disabled.
Jarno was great in getting back to me quickly regarding the issue and, provided a pretty straightforward solution, which I tested on the staging site before implementing it on the my Client's live site.

Plugin logs out with no reason, re-login didn’t work

Completely unprofessional support that makes excuses and does not solve the plugin problem. The plugin logs out on its own, notification emails are not delivered. We are losing money and reputation because the demo is displayed after logging out.

The booking system is easy to integrate into the website and offers a wide range of options for customization. The integration into WordPress worked flawlessly for me.
The system as such, which offers a very large scope and further integration, is also highly recommended. I spent a long time comparing which system I would work with, but none offers me such a wide range of services with such easy administration as this one
Plugin logs out with no reason, re-login didn't work

I use simplybook for two month now and I also installed the wordpress plugin for our website. During that time, it happend 3 times, that I got - for whatever reason - logged out of the plugin. I only noticed it, because some of our customers couldn't book any more on our website. The last time, I had also problems to login again, because the confirmation code didn't arrive via email. The simplybook support tends to claim that there is a problem on my side which isn't the case. In the end, I don't use this plugin any more, because I want to avoid bad surprises, when customers can't book any more. For a premium account I would expect a more reliable solution and a better support from the provider.

I haven't been using SimplyBook for long as I am a new business - however, I tried several competitors and ended up going back to SimpleBook due to the features and ease of use.
I am actually the husband of Julia, who runs Lashes at Eleven, and I handle all of the tech stuff for her - such as setting up the website, online booking system and card processors etc and let me tell you, it is a minefield out there!
The software is easy to use and integrate into the website - and our customers find it easy to navigate and book appointments. I have used their support services and couple of times, and each time I had my live chat answered within a couple of minutes!
I highly recommend SimplyBook if you run any form of beauty salon business.
