Smart Tools for Contact Form 7 stores every Contact Form 7 submission in a dedicated database table so you can review messages even if the notification email is missed. It also adds a Form Styler panel to each form so you can change layout and appearance without editing the form template.

Requirements

This plugin requires Contact Form 7.

Privacy

Submitted form fields are stored in your WordPress database. IP address and user agent storage can be disabled in Settings. Optional deactivation feedback emails only the reason, comment, and version numbers to the plugin author. Site URL and admin email are not included. You can skip the modal and deactivate without sending anything.

  1. Upload the cf7-smart-tools folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
  3. Make sure Contact Form 7 is installed and active.
  4. Open Smart Tools in the admin menu.
  5. Edit a Contact Form 7 form and open the Form Styler tab to change layout and design.
Does this replace Flamingo?

No. You can use both. This plugin stores submissions in its own table and admin screens.

Are uploaded files saved?

Yes. Files are copied to a protected uploads folder and can be downloaded from the submission detail screen.

How do I export submissions?

Open Submissions and use Export CSV. The file respects the current search and filters. You can also export selected rows from the bulk actions menu.

Where is personal data stored?

Submitted fields are stored in the database. IP address and user agent storage can be disabled in Settings. The plugin registers WordPress personal data exporters and erasers.

Does Form Styler change the Contact Form 7 template?

No. Layout and class/id values are stored with the form and applied when it renders.

Can I translate the plugin?

Yes. The source language is English. Translations are managed at translate.wordpress.org after the plugin is listed in the directory.
