SoldSteps Demo Import helps users quickly import demo content such as pages, posts, menus, widgets, and customizer settings.

While it is primarily intended for use with the SoldSteps theme, it can be used by any theme that provides compatible demo import files.

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/soldsteps-demo-import directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Go to Appearance Demo Import (or the menu added by your theme).
  4. Click Import to load the demo content.
Is this plugin required?

No. This plugin is optional and only needed if you want to import demo content.

Does it work with any theme?

It works with any theme that provides compatible demo import files, but it is optimized for the SoldSteps theme.

Can I delete the plugin after importing demo content?

Yes. After importing the demo, the plugin can usually be safely deactivated and removed.
