Description

Submission Inbox gives WordPress sites a focused workspace for capturing leads, saving form submissions, sending SMTP email notifications, and reviewing WordPress email status from one admin area.

Every form submission matters. If an email notification fails, gets misconfigured, or is never generated, the lead should still be saved where your team can find it.

With Submission Inbox, you can create built-in lead forms, capture submissions from popular form plugins, send admin notifications, create reusable visitor auto-reply templates, and connect each auto-reply to the right form and visitor email field.

The plugin also includes Email Log and Email Status screens so site owners can quickly understand whether WordPress generated, sent, failed, or missed a related notification email.

Why use Submission Inbox?

  • Keep leads saved even when notification emails fail.
  • Review submissions from built-in forms and supported form plugins in one place.
  • Configure SMTP sending without turning your lead workflow into a full email marketing system.
  • Send visitor confirmation emails with reusable auto-reply templates.

Email status, clearly explained

Submission Inbox reports WordPress email events. It does not claim inbox placement, recipient engagement, email opens, or email clicks.

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
  2. Activate Submission Inbox from the WordPress Plugins screen.
  3. Open Submission Inbox in the WordPress admin menu.
  4. Configure Settings -> Sending.
  5. Create a form, copy its shortcode, and publish it on a page.
Does this plugin guarantee that emails reach the inbox?

No. Submission Inbox records WordPress email events and shows whether WordPress sent or failed an email attempt. It does not confirm inbox placement.

What happens if an email notification fails?

The form submission can still be saved in Submission Inbox. The related email event is shown in Email Log and Email Status with a safe error explanation when available.

Can I create forms with this plugin?

Yes. The plugin includes built-in lead forms that can be published with a shortcode.

Does it work with Contact Form 7?

Yes. Submission Inbox can capture supported Contact Form 7 submissions and link them to related email events.

Which form plugins are supported?

Submission Inbox can capture submissions from built-in forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Forminator, and Ninja Forms when the related integration is enabled and the form plugin is active.

Does the plugin store SMTP passwords in logs?

No. SMTP passwords and sensitive technical data should not be exposed in admin logs or email status screens.
