TESTIMONIAL SUBMISSION FORM

If you want to collect user feedback directly via your website, Super Testimonial Plugin will serve your request. You can give your users an option to set the testimonial draft, pending or publish, and provide users an option to upload images and other information with their testimonial. You can easily manage all the options via the options page.

Installation

Using The WordPress Dashboard

Install as a regular WordPress plugin.
Go to your Plugins setting via WordPress Dashboard and activate it.
After activating the plugin you will see the “S Testimonials” menu below the comment’s menu on the left side of the WordPress dashboard and find “Generate Shortcode”.

Using FTP
1. Extract tp-super-testimonials.zip to your computer.
2. Upload the tp-super-testimonials directory to your wp-content/plugins directory.
3. After activating the plugin you will see the “S Testimonials” menu on the left side of the WordPress dashboard and find “Generate Shortcode”

How to use short-code?
When active the plugin please Generate a shortcode and used this shortcode in your theme anywhere you want to display this testimonial.

Many bugs and missing basic features

Testimonial Query Theme 1-5 options shown in settings select-box does not show in Front End.

There is no preview of the available for the themes as part of the settings page, and the Preview button loads a new page with shows an empty rubric).

No option to edit the text of testimonial fields placeholders.

Form email notification won't allow editing the email subject

The Form Shortcode was barely noticed, as it is placed on WordPress bottom sidebar.

There is no option to set a "Show More" message that allow to expend the testimonial content downwards when it has more words than allowed in the settings.

The font style that is used to show the testimonials at the Front End is not inherited from the site settings, and it's not WordPress standard.

Using a WordPress RTL language website, The Slider shows nothing in the front end, but just a miniature gray square.

Rating Style setting shows 5 empty squares for instead of the optional styles.

There is no option to collect user login details (username and email) and filling them up in the Form automatically.

There is no option to allow only logged-in users to send testimonial.

Not shore what is the cause, but randomly, updating the Form settings caused my website to show 500 Error and makes my website to be unavailable for a few minutes.

Great plugin. I really like the feature that lets you filter your reviews by categories so you get relevant reviews on each "service" page. Very useful.

After reporting to Support issue with appearance of testimonials on front end after updating plugin, they took it seriously, asked to log in, and were able to resolve this issue. Now the appearance (visuals, font, color, size, etc) are all how it should be. Thanks for followthrough!!!

I was looking for a testimonials plugin that kept them as a post type in the WordPress backend, since I was migrating from a theme that had this capability built-in. I tried the free version, liked it and went for the pro version as well. Support was great and quickly implemented some requests and fixes. Very recommended!

None of the samples in documentation are available in free version. In fact, the documentation refers to paid version so if you are using the demo or documentation to assess, what you see is not what you get. Still, free version does show testimonials - albeit one at a time. I'm going to keep looking.
