Description

Try it live first: https://playground.wordpress.net/?blueprint-url=https://table12.com/wordpress/demo-blueprint.json opens a throwaway WordPress site with this plugin already connected to our demo restaurant — nothing to install, and it resets itself every couple of hours.

Table12 is an online table booking platform. This plugin connects your WordPress website to your Table12 restaurant account so you can:

  • Show your live booking form anywhere on your site — a block, a shortcode [table12], or a “Book a table” button. The form follows your site’s language (WPML and Polylang included) or the visitor’s browser language, with flags to switch — [table12 lang="auto" switcher="off"] to tune it.
  • See today’s bookings, covers and pending requests on your WordPress dashboard.
  • Confirm, decline and add reservations without leaving wp-admin.
  • Model your floor — areas and tables with seat ranges — and let Table12 confirm bookings automatically when a fitting table is free.
  • Keep every channel in sync: reservations from your website, table12.com, table.mt, table.lv and staff entries all live in the same Table12 account.

Your opening hours, availability, languages (50+) and branding are configured once on Table12 — the plugin never duplicates them in WordPress.

External services

This plugin relies on Table12 (https://table12.com), a third-party reservation service. When connected, your site communicates with Table12’s API to display the booking form and to read and manage your venue’s reservations. Guest details submitted through the booking form are processed by Table12.

No reservation data is stored in your WordPress database; the plugin stores only your connection tokens and chosen venue.

Can I try it before installing?

Yes. https://playground.wordpress.net/?blueprint-url=https://table12.com/wordpress/demo-blueprint.json boots a temporary WordPress in your browser with the plugin connected to our demo restaurant: the dashboard widget, the bookings screen, the Tables screen and the booking form on a page. Everything you do there is thrown away when you close the tab.

Do I need a Table12 account?

Yes — the plugin is an interface to your Table12 restaurant account. Creating one is free at table12.com.

Where are my reservations stored?

On Table12. WordPress reads them live; nothing is duplicated or out of date.

Where do I get help?

Use the support forum here, or reach the Table12 team via https://table12.com/contact.

1.0.1

  • Language on the booking form: block settings to follow the site language, the visitor’s browser language, or one fixed language; a switch to hide the language flags. Shortcode: lang="auto", switcher="off".
  • Appearance: the preview updates as you pick a style or colour, and picking a colour now keeps it on save.

1.0.0

  • First WordPress.org release. Everything from 0.2.0, plus a live demo link in the description and FAQ so you can try the plugin before installing.

0.2.0

  • New Tables screen: model your floor (areas, tables with seat ranges) and see day occupancy from wp-admin.
  • Automatic confirmations: opt in and Table12 confirms requests instantly when a fitting table is free — you are notified instead of asked; anything that does not fit stays pending for you.
  • Availability on your website’s booking form now counts real table capacity once your floor is configured.

0.1.0

  • First release: connect flow, booking block/shortcode/button, dashboard widget, bookings management in wp-admin.
