Development

The Gutenberg sidebar source code is located in gutenberg/src/index.js.
The compiled build in gutenberg/build/ is generated using @wordpress/scripts.

To rebuild from source:

Automatic Installation

1. Go to Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin

3. Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”
4. Open any page or post in the editor — the Teun.ai GEO metabox appears below the editor

What is GEO?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It is the practice of optimizing your content so AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews can understand, reference, and recommend your pages.

Does this plugin make external API calls?

The free version makes zero external API calls. All analysis runs locally in PHP on your WordPress server. The only external request is fetching your site’s own HTML to detect schema markup (a standard WordPress pattern). Premium features (optional) connect to Teun.ai servers for live AI scanning.

Does it work with my SEO plugin?

Yes. Teun.ai GEO integrates with Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress, and All in One SEO to read focus keywords. It does not conflict with any SEO plugin.

Does it affect my site speed?

No. The plugin only runs in the WordPress admin area. It adds zero frontend code, scripts, or styles. The AI bot tracking uses minimal server resources.
