Touchtry RoomFit AR brings the power of WebAR to your WooCommerce furniture store, allowing customers to virtually place sofas, tables, chairs, and other furniture in their real environment using just their smartphone — no app required.

This plugin adds a customizable “Try in My Room” AR button on product pages so users can see the product in their space at actual scale before buying.

External services

This plugin optionally loads tutorial videos from YouTube in the admin dashboard (Upload tab).
When viewing that tab, the admin’s browser requests the video directly from YouTube servers.
No personal data or plugin data is sent to YouTube from the plugin itself.

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/touchtry-roomfit, or install via the WordPress plugin dashboard.
  2. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to Furniture AR in the admin menu.
  4. Add your API key (optional) from the dashboard.
  5. Upload .glb 3D models for your WooCommerce products.
  6. Use the [furniture_ar] shortcode on any product or page where you want the AR Try-On button to appear.
What 3D model format is supported?

Only .glb format is supported, which is required for WebAR compatibility.

Is it compatible with WooCommerce?

Yes, the plugin is built specifically to work with WooCommerce stores.

How does the customer use the AR Try-On?

Customers simply click the “Try in My Room” button from their mobile browser to open AR and place the product.

Can I customize the AR button?

Yes, you can style the button using CSS or override it using shortcode attributes.

Does the AR Try-On work on desktop?

It works best on mobile browsers. On desktop, a QR code will be shown that users can scan with their phone.

I tested Touchtry RoomFit plugin on my WooCommerce site. Setup was simple and AR Try-On feature worked smoothly for furniture products. Customers can preview items in their own room using WebAR, which increases engagement and sales. The plugin is lightweight, mobile-friendly and provides a clean UI.
