Sehr geehrtes Support-Team,
am 31.05.2025 wurde bei einem Sicherheitsscan festgestellt, dass das Plugin einen Skriptfehler erzeugt. Genauer gesagt:Die Datei headerScript.min.js aus dem Trustpilot-Plugin verursachte eine Ladezeitüberschreitung (Timeout) und führte dazu, dass Sicherheitsprüfungen nicht abgeschlossen werden konnten.Die betroffene Datei stammt aus folgendem Pluginpfad:/wp-content/plugins/trustpilot-reviews/review/assets/js/Nach Deaktivierung und Entfernung des Plugins wurde das Problem vollständig behoben.Bitte prüfen Sie, ob dieses Verhalten durch ein Update des Plugins behoben werden kann oder ob das Skript fehlerhaft eingebunden ist.Mit freundlichen GrüßenElke Wirtz

Trustboxes can;t be added to wordpress site. Guessing it's because the plugin hasn't been updated for a long time. Then trustpilot (which is very untrustworthy by the way) contacted us to complain that we aren't using their trustboxes on our website!

I pay for the premium plan which is £600 PER MONTH. This is enough to rent a flat up north in the UK. Even after charging an arm and a leg for their plugin, they can't be bothered to add basic features to it like the ability to align a widget to the left, meaning it displays in the middle no matter what. One of the worst plugins I have ever come across as a web developer.
trustpilot is trash

They delete true, good reviews and publish false, negative ones UNLESS YOU PAY THEM... I have even been horribly scammed by a company with a 3.9 rating on trustpilot!

dont work with Divi theme

This plugin doesent work with divi theme
The plugin needs an update.

When the plugin is working, it's sending out invites to review - that's working.
But I keep getting deprecated PHP errors, because they didn't update the plugin to the lastest PHP versions. So had to disable the plugin. Which is kind of annoying, as all my other plugins supports newer versions of PHP.
But they won't get data from a lot of different webshops when the webmaster disable the plugins as well, so I don't understand why they wouldn't keep it up to date.
Outrageous prices to simply display your rating and reviews

This plugin is a joke. None of the widgets are free - to simply display your businesses' rating and reviews is outrageously priced, starting at €139 a month and going up to €519 a month! There's nothing business-friendly about this. Trustpilot also stopped allowing Trustindex to use their API, which was a free solution, so they could hold small business owners hostage. If they kept this affordable they would garner so much more praise and positive reviews than through this greedy approach. Shameful.
