Why force a custom page builder to change the look of course pages?

I understand that for those who develop paid themes and plugins, accommodating the block editor's multiple changes, delays, and poor decisions can be frustrating and can stall development. But the decision to develop a custom page builder (Droip) to manage courses and course archives is absurd.
OK, it might not be absurd from an economic standpoint, because it's just another add-on they can sell to anyone who wants to change the look of archive pages. But for those who want to maintain a clean workflow, without adding plugins and new ways to edit content beyond the native one, it's a huge step backward.
I refuse to add another page builder to do something that should be handled by the native WordPress editor, even if it were in a simplified version.
I invested in the premium version some time ago, when no other plugin was necessary. Now I'm frustrated that I can't fully utilize the plugin's potential. Bad move.
It seems I'll have to do some intensive research on LMS plugins again. This is the second one I've abandoned due to poor development choices they make.

Some is good - but annoying enough to leave it

I have been trying to build a custom course site for some time, and found TutorLMS's potential to look the most promising. But I see after some use that it’s annoyingly limited.
There is also no support for one of the biggest and most professional page builders, Bricks. It’s hopeless to build pages the way you want. The payment system is also not working well.
The "Native" payment option is just sending people to a Stripe.com page where they have to fill out their information one more time. I'm also forced to collect users address and phone number, which I do not want.
Using WooCommerce is complex, clunky, and leaves out the built-in feature for having membership add-ons active.
I'm giving up on making this work and will find something else. Besides that, other details around the Tutor workflow is getting better.

I have tried several LMS systems, Tutor by far is the best. The platform is user friendly, has everything I've been looking for, it allows me to offer my students a great user experience per a student, and I love thier customer service. Dip and Sirjion are amazing. My concerns were issued immediately and resolve within 24 hours. Also, they have an amazing chat bot. It's very intuitive and in most cases, it was able to resolve my issues with great detail and instructions.
I highly recommend Tutor as an executive level platform to serve as a LMS for any organization.

Low Cost LMS - With so many custom options

The developers deserve a 5* Review because this is such a good technology to exist. A lot cheaper than Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific etc, more customizable, better control over your product, etc. It's true that there are bugs from time to time, and improvements are needed, but still it's som good that it exists on the market and it gives so much independence to the owner.

as for support, initially I had trouble dealing with support but, after I pushed them by stating I may need to post a negative review on WP, they were amazing and helpful on the third support contact for the same issue.
I post that not as much to be negative, rather to let people know how to navigate any possible issue with support where they don’t feel the matter is being handled…you need to be willing and able to escalate, eventually the proper support agent will help and absolutely take care of your issue, so don’t judge the book by the cover if you have issues with your first level support, keep at it and eventually you’ll get a support agent that is fantastic!

Promises great features, until you realize it is full of multiple strange UI choices - the kind you expect out of buggy smartphone apps.
Biggest issue is that module completion requires manually clicking a button - not at the end of a lesson, but at the beginning, to complete. It's just one of many weird oddities you'll discover while developing with it.
TutorLMS is also not very friendly to use with any other login system than its own, and tries to force you into its own ecosystem for everything else as well. Warning message boxes are not editable without going into the theme templates either, which tend to change with large updates (e.g., the 2.0 version to 3.0).
Back end settings often tend to overlap in odd ways and thus conflict in manners that aren't intuitive.
It is not the worst WordPress LMS of its peers, but it is a poster child for being typical of many plugins of this type: over-engineered and under-tested. Think Adobe; that's TutorLMS.
