Front end Login
Ultra Community offers an interactive front-end user login, with error handling and custom redirection support.

Front end Registration
Create multiple fully customizable front-end registration forms for your users

User Profile
Create amazing user profiles which can be fully customized to your site’s specific requirements

User Roles
Ultra Community allows you to create multiple user roles and give each role its own permissions and capabilities

Groups
Allow users to create and join groups

Members Directory
List all the registered users filtering them by User Role and setup which user roles can access the directory

Groups Directory
List all groups filtering them by group type (public, private, secret)

Email Notifications
Allows you to setup and customize email notifications that can be sent to users after a certain event happens. Each email type can be activated or deactivated

Compatibility

On a WP Multisite you can either activate the plugin network wide or on a single site.

Note: This plugin requires PHP 5.3 or higher to be activated.

I bought a paid extension, but the subscription pulls money out every year. It hides the cancel function. When I send a cancellation email, it is ignored. They take my money forever.

A warning word

Sadly, it seems to be someone who uses the extension for force log in or if it is the creator himself who does it. I can not code but installed plugins on two different websites. Someone is trying to get in the back door with the username NoneNone via android. Every hour someone or something logs on. uninstalled ultra community on a website and then it disappeared. Have done it on my other page as well and it seems to end here as well. Warning in other words for this plugin

Been developing and maintaining our site with UltraCommunity for the past 4-5 months and can only say: WOW! Functionality of the plugin is what you'd expect, and is somewhat customizable out of the box. A super easy forms-solution maked the user-profiles and the data gathered a breeze to setup, and with the possibility to user the usermeta table aswell, it is somewhat friendly to a future migration, a likeable feat. Where there are flaws, issues or miss-thought things, there is always a remedy. Where I have strange needs or experience something I feel is a bug, the solution is fixed within a day. Always friendly and always responding swiftly!

As i was looking for a community plugin for wordpress i found a lot of overdosed Plugins, expensive and full of superfluous Features. With this plugin i found exact the features i wanted to use. So with this plugin and four Addons i could setup the website i wanted. There was one little bug depending on the Theme i was using, so i contacted the support and within minutes i got a very helpful and kind answer. After a nice Chat the Bug was fixed. Great support. Never had such a helpful experience in any other support i had to use. 5 Stars are not enough. Thanks a lot.

I compared this plugin to other community plugins like Buddypress, ProfileGrid and Ultimate Member. This plugin "Ultra Community" stood out to me as the most lively, "modern" looking and user appealing of these Community plugins by far. I am creating a group of community websites and I have no prior experience with any of these community plugins so I am comparing them with "fresh eyes" so to speak. The other community plugins have a lot of functionality but little "customer appeal" to my eyes. After looking at these other plugins I was very discouraged about finding a community plugin that would give my community members a great experience, and then I discovered this fantastic Ultra Community plugin. I have just built seven community websites using the Ultra Community plugin and I am very happy with the results.
