This plugin allows you to update all posts, pages, and custom post types by clicking a button. It’s useful for forcing an update without needing to manually edit each post.

  1. Upload the update-posts-plugin folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to the “Update Posts” menu in the admin dashboard.
  4. Click the “Update All Posts” button to update the modification date of all published posts, pages, and custom post types.

What does this plugin do exactly?

This plugin updates the modification date of all posts, pages, and custom post types when the provided button in the admin panel is clicked.

Can I limit the plugin to a specific post type?

Currently, the plugin updates all posts, pages, and custom post types. In future versions, we may add the option to select specific post types.

How do I know if the posts were updated?

After clicking the “Update All Posts” button, a success message will be displayed in the admin panel indicating the operation has completed.
