Does the Job, But Comes With Unwanted Baggage

The UserWay plugin does what it's supposed to do – it improves accessibility on your website. For basic use cases and users looking for a quick solution without technical hassle, it works just fine.
However – and it’s a big however – the plugin persistently displays a large banner in the WordPress admin area, with no option to permanently dismiss it. There’s no “don’t show again” button, which in 2025 feels like a UX crime. If I’m already using your tool, you don’t need to constantly remind me it exists. I know. I installed it.
If you're looking for a cleaner experience without in-your-face admin ads and unnecessary distractions, you might want to consider alternative plugins or handle accessibility manually.

The plugin might be wonderful but, given that you *have* to subscribe and give them all your personal data in order to even test the plugin, it's a hard pass from me.

The accessibility plugin is working great, there is an option to manage the settings from the userway dashboard, change the colors and the size of the widget and more.
There is an area on the dashboard where ALT texts can be added for the images, and the plugin knows how to solve almost all of the accessibility issues.
