Video Backgrounds for SiteOrigin Page builder gives you the ability to add background videos to any Page Builder row.

Each row allows you to specify mp4, webm and/or ogg video files to be used as a background. You can optionally add a semi-transparent overlay of a solid colour or a pre-defined pattern.

Other provided options include:

  • Add pause/play button
  • Auto-pause after (time in seconds)
  • Poster / fallback image
  • Pause/play button position
  • Overlay opacity

Video Backgrounds for SiteOrigin Page Builder is developed and maintained by the BG Stock team.

Search for ‘Video Backgrounds for SiteOrigin Page Builder’ on WordPress’ ‘Add Plugin’ screen and install from there, or:

  1. Upload background-videos-for-siteorigin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Search for ‘Video Backgrounds for SiteOrigin Page Builder’ on WordPress’ ‘Add Plugin’ screen and install from there, or:

  1. Upload background-videos-for-siteorigin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Which video file types should I use?

We recommend using at least mp4 and webm. We recommend this video converter to convert your video to the required file types.

Where do I add the background video?

Edit any row in Page Builder, and you’ll see an option group called ‘Background Video’. All of the plugin options are contained therein.

This does exactly want I needed and what it advertises: a row video background. And what's better it's from SiteOrigin, so it's on the Layout page !

And it's adaptive (in the right way !);
And it doesn't cross the entire rows of a website;
And it stays where it's supposed to be;
And many options to play with;
And no code to put anywhere like all these other plugins,
And, and, and…

You are the best guys !!
