Installation

Download the plugin ZIP file.
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Go to Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin.
Click “Choose File” and select the downloaded zip file.
Click “Install Now”.
After installation completes, click “Activate Plugin”.
After activation the plugin, you will find “Video Popup” menu in your WordPress admin dashboard:
- General Settings: Control the default options for all video popups on your site, except for the Public On-Page Load.
- Public On-Page Load: Set up a video to automatically show as a popup on specific locations.
- Shortcode Reference: Explanation of shortcode features and attributes, with examples and their corresponding outputs.
If you are using a caching plugin, please clear your cache once to ensure the new Video Popup modal and style load correctly.

A great plugin But...

I have found that if you update an image in your media library, this program does not automatically update the image. The original image simply disappears. That said I cannot recommend this plugin if you have a bunch of videos because you will have to update every post/page manually. I purchased this plugin in good faith only to find out that the free version works as well as the paid version with little difference in the upgrade. Speaking of upgrades, I have yet to see one from this creator and it's been almost a year. I doubt that this plugin will work with Gutenberg in the final analysis.

The developer creates a small pop up by default. If you want a normal size you have to pay. That is not playing fair. There are improvements that can be Premium but the size? Just say it is not free and we save time.

I really recommend this plugin, it is easy to use, it looks beautiful, it works perfectly and the Support is the best. It is definitely one of the best plugins you can find for wordpress. Don´t waste your time and install it.

Fixed an issue that prevented MP4 and WebM videos from autoplaying in On Click popups. Autoplay now works properly even without muted sound for all supported video types (YouTube, Vimeo, MP4, and WebM) in On Click popups only. However, when using the Public On-Page Load feature, the video must be muted to ensure autoplay works due to browser autoplay policies.

Note: If you are using a caching plugin, please clear your cache once to ensure the update is applied correctly.

Is the usage method still the same?
Yes! The same builder and shortcode are still used and remain core to the plugin. We have completely redeveloped the plugin without changing the usage method.

After updating to 2.0.0, will my previously created popups continue to work?
Yes! All your popups created with any version in your content will continue to work seamlessly without the need for any edits! But, if you previously used the old On-Page Load feature, it has been completely re-developed and renamed to “Public On-Page Load”, so you will need to enable it and set it up if you wish to use it.

Note after updating to 2.0.0: If you are using a caching plugin, please clear your cache once to ensure the new Video Popup modal and style load correctly.
